Education & Professional Background

Melody Kettle earned a Juris Doctorate from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Rutgers University, providing a unique blend of legal insight, communication expertise, and analytical thinking that strengthens her effectiveness in negotiation, contracts, and business strategy.

Before entering real estate, Melody built a successful career in digital media, journalism, and content creation.

In 2010, Melody began writing and producing video content for hyperlocal news platforms including Baristanet and Patch, covering community news, local business, and regional events across New Jersey.

In 2011, Melody founded Hot From The Kettle®, a widely recognized New Jersey food and restaurant media brand focused on restaurant news, reviews, and culinary culture. Melody also founded the Montclair Food & Wine Festival, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that became an influential regional culinary event. As President and Executive Director, Melody played a central role in its growth and success.

Melody also served as Chargé de Presse for Chaine des Rôtisseurs, one of the world’s most prestigious gastronomic societies.

Real Estate Career Journey

Melody Kettle launched her real estate career in 2015 after earning a New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson License. Over the years, Melody has built experience at several highly respected brokerages, including Keller Williams, RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker, and Weichert, Realtors.

This diverse brokerage experience gives Melody rare insight into business models, agent success systems, recruiting strategies, and operational excellence across the real estate industry.
